Anne Yost

Anne is the latest member of the TGB family.  Anne joined Tucker Griffin Barnes in 2013 and works closely with our criminal defense attorney, André Hakes, as her paralegal. She graduated from law school and earned her master’s degree at the University of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines.  She worked for LexisNexis as a legal editor before moving to Virginia, where she worked as a legal assistant in another prominent Charlottesville law firm. Anne is an experienced criminal paralegal and is familiar with the ins and outs of criminal procedure in the Central Virginia area; most importantly, Anne is committed to client support. 

When not working, Anne is a court-appointed special advocate for children with Piedmont CASA, where she has volunteered since 2010.  As a CASA advocate, she is assigned abuse and neglect cases and works closely with the Albemarle-Charlottesville Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.   

In her free time, Anne likes to travel, try new restaurants and spend time with her husband and two children.  Her daughter, Zarah, is an accounting major at George Mason University and her step-son Jack, is excited to begin his first year at Radford University.
